Ice Cream Cones at Mikey's

Well my goal was to post daily during out trip to Greencastle, but somehow the internet went down at my parents house while we were up there, so I'm going to go off memory with the events that took place this weekend.

We arrived in Greencastle on Friday afternoon...the trip was quite an adventure. It's been almost a year since we've been up there. Hailey has always been very good during car rides, sleeping most of the time. However this was her first long car trip without her binky, so we had about 45 minutes of crying, of which both of us were tempted to put her on the roof of the car!! (just kidding!!) Uncle Mike Wales, Dylan, Garrett, Amber & Eve were also visit, so we had quite a full house this weekend!!

Our first adventure was ice cream cones at Mikey's on Friday night. Hailey was SOOO excited. She waited in line for her icecream cone so patiently. She couldn't decide if she wanted Chocolate (Brown) or Pink (like her Pinkalicious book). She ended up picking Chocolate. She thoroughly enjoyed her Chocolate Ice Cream cone, but she also had quite the smorgasboard, as she ate some of Mommy's Mint Chocolate Chip & CHOWED down on Mom-Mom's Root Beer Italian Ice. Amber brought her baby, Eve, who is 7 months old. She is a very sweet baby! It is cute to see Hailey interact with her and gives us an idea how she will treat Tyler once he becomes more interactive. Eve was enjoying ice cream with her Granddad below!! Notice the look on her face in the first one...Gimme that Ice Cream Uncle Garrett!!!
