Memorial Day

So if you know anyone who wants a boat, we are selling ours!! However, since we haven't sold it yet, we decided to use it as much as possible until we do...so we took it out on Memorial Day. Uncle Jason, Aunt Sarah & Madison joined us. It was a beautiful day, but windy....should have paid more attention to the wind, because we got out on the water and it was VERY choppy...we are not the most experienced watermen! HE HE HE... Jason wanted to knee board....are you crazy Jason? Can you say "HYPOTHERMIA?!?!?!" On our way back in, the tide was coming in and the wind really picked up. There were white caps all over and pretty large swales! It was quite a rough ride for our little boat, and quite scary with the little kids with us...but Shawn did a GREAT job getting us back to safety...and Jason, you did a great job holding onto the windshield buddy!! Madison slept the whole way back, enjoying the vibrations, and Hailey and I screamed and laughed at the adventure! "WOAH!....That was a big one....faster....Oh, that was too big!" I would LOVE to keep the boat, but we only took it out 3 times last summer, so it doesn't make sense to keep making the payments....but my goal is to use it till we get an offer on it. - Oh, the picture of Jason's behind is his attempt at a 360....he fell off at this point and didn't get back on, as it was freezing. Maybe later in the summer he can show off again for us!Our little helper! I feel guilty for not having more pictures of Tyler, but at this stage he doesn't do a whole lot but smile and coo....He will have his time in the spotlight once he becomes more mobile. He LOVES hanging out with me in his Baby Bjorn. I can put him in it facing me and he just snuggles, or facing out and he laughs and coos. He's hiding behind Hailey as we are watering the plants.
